2016 Baby Proof Set – Alphabet

Since 1995, the Royal Australian Mint has issued the six coin Baby Proof Set annually; the Gumnut series 1995- 1997, the Koala series 1998-2005, Magic Pudding series 2006-2008, the Blinky Bill series 2009-2011 and Dot and the Kangaroo series 2012-2014. In 2016 the theme is the alphabet, as our “A,B,C’s” form one of the first and most fundamental lessons that a young child learns. The six coin Baby Proof set consists of the regular circulating designs; cupro nickel 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, al/bronze $1 and $2.
