2014 Gold Quarter Ounce Proof Coin ANZAC Spirit 100th Anniversary Proof Coin Series – To Our Last Man and Our Last Shilling

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1/4oz of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. No more than 1,000 of The ANZAC Spirit 2014 1/4oz Gold Proof Coin will be released by The Perth Mint.

The coin’s reverse features soldiers marching along the Albany coastline, with a convoy of ships in King Georges Sound in the background. The inscription ‘1914 – To Our Last Man and Our Last Shilling’, a red poppy motif and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated into the design.

The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year-date, the monetary denomination, and the coin’s weight and fineness. Each coin will be presented in a black and red themed display case featuring the words ‘PRIDE’, ‘RESPECT’, and ‘GRATITUDE’ on the outside of the case, within a themed shipper.
