This Classic Motorbikes Perth Mint 5 Coin Set offers motorcyclists and collectors a unique opportunity to celebrate their bike passions.  Each motorbike is rendered in cameo proof finish, mirrored fields, vibrant colors and weigh one full ounce of pure silver each.

Despite the popularity of motorcycles very few coins, medals or tokens have ever been struck with representations of bikes on them. With this magnificent set (the desirability of which is greatly enhanced by its very limited mintage of only 1,500 sets) Perth Mint has done the World’s greatest motorcycles proud.

All images are meticulously engraved and show the fine details of each bike.

Each coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality manufactured by world renowned PERTH MINT.

Each coin portrays a classic bike and its manufacturer’s logo.

This set is housed in a black presentation case and illustrated box-shipper.

The Perth Mint has released no more than 1,500 of these Five-Coin Sets. Very, very few resales on the market.

Accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity featuring description of each classic bike.

The Five coin set consists of the following:

America’s Indian Chief of the 20’s

Launched in 1922, the indomitable Chief had graceful styling and a lusty 1,000cc V-twin engine that remained popular in the US for more than two decades

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some believe that the actual motorbike depicted on this coin is most likely an Indian Scout rather than an Indian Chief as indicated by the legend on the coin. If this is the case, that would make this an error coin.

Germany’s BMW R12 from 30’s and 40’s

By sheer numbers that rolled off its German production line – around 36,000 between 1935 and 1942 – BMW’s R12 is a bona fide classic that introduced important technical advances

Britain’s BSA Gold Star from the 50’s

An extraordinary all-rounder, BSA’s Gold Star evolved into arguably the best bike from Britain’s biggest manufacturer during the 1950s

Norton Commando from the late 60’s and early 70’s

Rated in Britain as the ‘Machine of the Year’ in five consecutive votes between 1968 and 1972, the legendary Commando still attracts legions of fans.

Japan’s Honda Dream CB750 Four launched in 1969

A Japanese masterpiece, the revolutionary CB750 changed the face of bike-riding when it was launched in 1969 featuring an inline four-cylinder engine and front disc brake.

Each coin weighs 31.135 grams, is 4.00 millimeters thick, and has a diameter of 40.60 millimeters. The five-coin set has a limited mintage of only 1,500.
