Limited edition Year of the Dragon silver kilo coin from The Perth Mint, featuring diamond eye detail.
In this exclusive design, the Chinese imperial dragon looks on a large pearl with the date to the left. Surrounding the dragon, highlighted with colour printing, are bats and clouds.
The diamonds are embedded in the coin’s surface, forming the dragon’s eyes, and are measured at .02 carats each.
The obverse of this coin shows Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the face value, which is $30.
Struck in 999 fine silver, this bullion coin weighs 1,000 grams (just over 32 troy ounces of precious metal).
The coin is protected by a clear capsule and an attractive presentation box, complete with a numbered certificate of authenticity. There is some wear to the outer box.
