1943 Penny (Australian?)

I would average 5 -10 calls a week at least with people enquiring or wanting to sell their 1943 penny.

I don’t know what they are researching on the internet. They seem most displeased when I tell them that I sell one 1943 penny in our shop for a dollar or two.

I suppose they see this search result and get excited about new found wealth

“Copper penny from 1943 is worth $200,000.”

Unfortunately the article is talking about the American coin and not our BRONZE Australian penny!

Anyway it’s great reading if you take it in context!
